Founder, Director & Manager: Jan Tucker
Jan is the Executive Director of Fair Do’s and the manager of the shop. Jan was the seventh representative to sign up with Traidcraft back in 1979. For a number of years she was Traidcraft’s Wales Representative and ran the Regional Stockbase for them.
She started up Fair Do’s as an independent business in 1997. In 1998, the shop moved to its current location in Canton.
As well as working at Fair Do’s, Jan is involved in the wider fair trade movement, enabling the shop to be active in the fair trade network in Wales.
Director and member of staff: Ruth Poole
Ruth works part time at the shop, and is responsible for the financial side of the business. She had been involved in selling fair trade goods in her church for many years.
Member of staff: Alison Hill
Alison works in the shop on Fridays and Saturdays and takes responsibility for shop and window displays. She has been promoting fair trade in her church for many years.
Member of staff: Clare Reay
Clare became a member of staff in 2009 and works on Saturdays. She takes responsibility for the online presence of Fair Do’s, managing our social media accounts and our website content.
Member of staff: Rama Furry
Rama joined the staff in 2014 and can be found working in the shop on Saturdays.
Member of staff: Christine Thomas
Christine joined the staff in 2014. She works in the shop on Fridays and can usually be found organising our stock room and welcoming reps.
Schools co-ordinator: Sarah Lart
Working with Fair Do’s since 2013, Sarah takes responsibility for all our schools work and can be reached by email email@example.com
Director: Jon Matthias
Jon has been involved with Fair Do’s since 1996 and has been an unpaid Company Director since Fair Do’s was incorporated in 2002. Jon also served on the board of the British Association of Fair Trade Shops from 2003-04 and has been a lifelong supporter of fair trade.
