Wales World Trade Fair 2012

Unfortunately, Fair Do’s will not be able to hold a stall at this event, but if you would like to attend here are the details.


The largest Fair/ethical trade event in Wales. Now in its sixth year.
Saturday, 6th. October, Guild Hall, Brecon. 10-5.
Sunday 7th. October, Market Hall, Abergavenny. 10-5.
75 stalls over one weekend selling Fair/ethically traded goods from around the world.
Zimbabwean food, dancing and drumming.
Live music from Chrys Blanchard’s Abercapella, Martha’s Reeds and one fella, Stainless Steve and Irish folk music.
Fairtrade song competition, the ‘F’ Factor with ten schools from all over Wales.
Fairtrade activity area, organised by Katrina Gass from Fairtrade Abergavenny. Dedicated children’s zone with face painting and many other activities. ‘Shorn the sheep’ racing.
Supported by Fairtrade Wales, The Co-operative Society, Oxfam Cymru and Abergavenny Town Council. Both events to be opened by the respective Mayors of Brecon and Abergavenny. Free entry.
