During Fairtrade Fortnight, two women cocoa farmers from Ghana will be visiting Cardiff.
Harriet Boatemaa and Fatima Ali, prominent members of Kuapa Kokoo – the Ghanaian farmers co-operative co-owned by Divine chocolate – have a packed schedule of events during their visit. They will be sharing their personal stories on life in a farming community, as well as sharing how their co-operative came to own a 45% share of Divine chocolate – one of the leading fairtrade brands.
On Wednesday 9th March, Fair Do’s together with Canton Uniting Church have organised a Divine tea party. From 3.30pm-5.30pm, guests are invited to meet the visiting cocoa farmers and enjoy refreshments. We would love to see you there.
Keep an eye on our website for full details of the events planned in Cardiff during this visit.
