<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt;"><span style="line-height: 115%; font-family: &amp;amp;amp; font-size: 12pt;">We are delighted to welcome back <strong>Deir Istya farmer, Riziq Abu Nasser</strong>, who was with us last year. Riziq (pictured below at Fair Do&#8217;s in 2011) is a father of three and currently owns 90 olive trees. Deir Istya’s olive co-operative was one of the first to gain Fairtrade and organic certification for its olive oil production.</span></p>

Taysir (pictured below) lives in the Salfeet district which is an area highly dependent on olive cultivation. </span></p>

<p>If you are interested in hearing about first-hand experience of the kind of producers who supply our products, this is the event for you! <strong>Danielle Johnson</strong> and <strong>Kate Meakin</strong>, both formerly of <strong>Fair Trade Wales</strong>, will speak at this meeting about their recent trips to Uganda and India respectively. They both worked closely with farmers and producers and will have many insights into the meaning of fairtrade for the people at the other end of the spectrum from us here in the UK.</p>
